Chris Stapleton and Wife Go Bumpin’ on GRAMMYs Red Carpet
The Stapletwins are due in the next few months!
Chris Stapleton is having one heck of a 2018. The country crooner not only took home two GRAMMY awards during the pre-telecast celebration, but also got to enjoy a date night with his pregnant wife Morgane.
Stapleton and his bride were glowing on the red carpet ahead of the show. The “Broken Halos” singer donned an all black suit, while Morgane looked stunning in an orange layered gown, complete with gold accents and a bun. Posing for cameras, she gently cradled her growing baby bump.
The couple, who announced they were expecting in October, will welcome twins in the spring. Morgane announced the surprise news with a post to Instagram that celebrated the couple’s wedding anniversary. “14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round,” she wrote with a black and white photo.
News of two babies on the way was a shocker to Stapleton, who admitted that he started laughing when the doctor gave them the update.
“I think I laughed for about 20 minutes straight when they told us. I was just shocked. I didn’t know what else to do. … I was in shock. Shocked is the only word,” Stapleton admitted on Today previously.
The couple’s due date is unknown at this time, but the couple will enjoy their last few month as a family of four before welcoming their sweet new additions.
