Chris Stapleton can now add “GRAMMY winner” to his long resume.

The singer took home the award for Best Country Solo Performance with “Traveller.” Stapleton was awarded the honor during The GRAMMYs pre-telecast, which aired online prior to tonight’s big show.

“Traveller” is the title-track from his GRAMMY-nominated album.

The first-time GRAMMY winner was up against Cam’s “Burning House,” Carrie Underwood’s “Little Toy Guns,” Keith Urban’s “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16″ and Lee Ann Womack’s “Chances Are.”

Stapleton will perform during the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards, airing tonight at 8pm ET on CBS. He will take part in a tribute to the late B.B. King with Bonnie Raitt and Gary Clark Jr.
