Chris Stapleton continued his momentum at The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards by winning the award for Best Country Album for Traveller.

“I’d like to thank Taylor Swift for glitter bombing me before I got up here for this,” he joked.

“This is something that you never ever dream of and so, and I’m super grateful for it,” he added. “I want to thank my wife, first of all, all the folks at Universal, Red Light, all the guys in the band, all the guys in the crew, all the fans. Everybody who’s ever helped me out along the way. There’s a lot of them and the show’s not long enough for it.”

Stapelton’s album was up against some tough competition. Other nominees included Kacey MusgravesPageant Material, Sam Hunt’s Montevallo, Little Big Town’s Pain Killer and Ashley Monroe’s The Blade.

Stapleton is already a winner at tonight’s show. He also took home the award for Best Country Solo Performance for “Traveller.”
