Chris Young brought a little bit of country to the glitz and glamour of the Miss USA 2016 pageant as he performed two of his biggest hits at the show on Sunday night (6/5).

Young started the night off with a smooth performance of his single, “I’m Comin’ Over,” as the ladies strutted their stuff for the gown portion of the competition. While they all looked gorgeously glam, Young provided the sweet soundtrack for their runway walks.

He then charmed the audience as he performed his song, “Heartbeat,” which added an acoustic flavor to the mix. Instead of suiting up in the traditional formal wear, Young and his backup dancers kept the country spirit alive in blue jeans and boots. Not a bad job for Young, as he strummed away while the contestants showed their stuff on the stage.

Young just recently announced “Sober Saturday Night” as his next single. The song features the legendary Vince Gill and will follow up the success of “Think of You,” his duet with Cassadee Pope. He will also be hosting the 2016 CMA Music Festival Opening Ceremonies on the Skyview Stage at Ascend Amphitheater on June 8 at 11 a.m.
