Chrissy Metz Inspires Audiences in ‘I’m Standing With You’ Video
The This Is Us star dropped the music video to her inspiring song "I'm Standing With You," which appears on the Breakthrough soundtrack.
Breakthrough star Chrissy Metz dropped her debut music video for the original song “I’m Standing With You,” which is featured in the film as well as its soundtrack, on Friday.
The video tells the story of keeping faith even when times in life seem to be at their lowest. This message perfectly captures the tone of the song, written by 10-time Oscar nominee Diane Warren, and the Breakthrough film, which is based on the true story of a mother’s love against seemingly impossible odds.
“Inspiration and love can come in many forms. I hope this movie, this song and the video bring a little into your life,” tweeted the actress/singer with a link to the music video.
The movie’s soundtrack also features original music from the likes of Carrie Underwood, Adam Hamrick, Darius Rucker, Lauren Alaina and more. Metz recently performed “I’m Standing With You” with Underwood, Alaina, Maddie & Tae and Mickey Guyton at the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards.
