When Clay Walker falls in love, he likes how his heart takes hold of the lucky lady and hopes her charm wins him over like he sings in “Working on Me.”

The track, written by Michael White, Clint Daniels and Lee Thomas Miller, captivates Walker’s perspective when it comes to the kind of relationship that pushes him to be a better man and an even greater support system to his partner. Although he remembers the gorgeous details of her face and tries to keep up with her passionate challenges, Walker still gives all attention over to his charismatic lady for winning over his heart with the simple things.

Marking his first single in nearly three years, Walker worked hard to find the perfect way to come back into the game and hopes that “Working on Me” becomes a staple in his career.

“Straight from my heart to yours, I did my best to land this one in the ‘sweet spot,’” Walker said to Sounds Like Nashville about his latest release.

It may have been a while since Walker’s fans have heard something new from him, but that doesn’t mean they can’t cherish his successful past as well. The singer has won both CMA and ACM awards, as well as garnered 11 No. 1 hits and a music catalogue soothing to the ears of traditional country lovers.

Walker’s single, “Working on Me,” is available to stream at this time.
