The Masked Singer recently unmasked the identity behind another contestant during Wednesday night’s (11/11) episode. Disguised as the “Snow Owls,” it was revealed that Clint Black and his wife Lisa Hartman Black were behind the secret performances.
The unmasking was revealed after three weeks of competition. Previous performances from the couple include “Say Something” by A Great Big World, “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor with John Legend and Andrea Bocelli’s “The Prayer.”
“It’s really mixed,” Hartman told PEOPLE of being eliminated before the end of the competition. “You want to go the whole way, but it seems like it’s been a long time we’ve had this big secret, so it’s nice to talk about it.
“We had never done anything like this, so we really leaned on each other,” she continued. “I was holding his hand. He was holding my hand a lot. We had little signals where we’d touch each other. We knew it meant like, ‘Turn and look at me.’ The compatibility certainly where this was concerned was really, really good.”
The Masked Singer isn’t the first time the couple has collaborated together. The two previously recorded “Easy for Me to Say,” “You Still Get to Me” and “When I Said I Do.” They met in 1990 and married the following year.
The hit FOX show will continue to suss out the hidden identities of the remaining celebrities. Guesses include LeAnn Rimes as the Sun and Taylor Dayne as the Popcorn.
