The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, or so goes the festive saying that circles around this time of year.
Country music artists caught on to the yuletide spirit by performing their own renditions of Christmas classics for the annual CMA Country Christmas television concert special. The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville was jingle bell rocking throughout the cheery evening, in which some of the biggest names from the format busted out the carols for a holly jolly time.
Reba McEntire took over the hosting duties from Jennifer Nettles and even sang a few jingles herself, from “Holly Jolly Christmas” to collaborations on “Jingle Bells” with Kelsea Ballerini and “Mary, Did You Know?” with Little Big Town.
Brett Eldredge added the dapper flair in his red velvet blazer as he crooned over hits like “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland” during the broadcast.
CMA Country Christmas also spread the message of giving during this season by teaming up with Toys for Tots, which country fans brought unwrapped presents for children in need to open during the holidays.
