As usual, this year’s CMA Music Festival in Nashville felt like a cross between a family reunion and an all-inclusive vacation for country stars and their fans, with four nights of stadium concerts and a city full of free music to enjoy. But if you couldn’t make the June event, you’re in luck, because it’s coming to ABC as CMA Fest – The Music Event of Summer.

Airing Sunday, August 4 at 8/7c, the broadcast will gather more than 30 live performances from country’s hottest superstars, hosted once again by Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini — with special guest host Bobby Bones for the first time. For the 16th year in a row, exhilarating footage from each night’s Nissan Stadium shows will keep you on the edge of your seat, offering a high-definition look at today’s country genre through artists like Luke Combs, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and yes, Lil Nas X.
