A Day In The (CMA Fest) Life with Bailey Bryan
We followed Bailey Bryan around during the 2017 CMA Music Festival as she ran around Nashville for a busy day meeting & playing for fans.
As a new artist heading into CMA Music Festival, the prospect can be a little intimidating. But country newcomer Bailey Bryan was ready to ‘Own It’ and share her experience with fans.for newcomer Bailey Bryan. Sounds Like Nashville spent the day with the Washington native as she prepared for a packed day of signings and performances around downtown Nashville.
Bryan, who was experiencing the festival for the first time as both a fan and artist, took to the Chevrolet Park Stage to perform for a large crowd waiting outside. Her favorite part, however, was getting to meet the fans before her she took the stage.
“I was just backstage in the green room and I walked around here. I just kind of kept my head down. Walked up on the stage and then I looked up and there’s like this line of people waiting to meet me,” she shared. “I know how much that means as someone that admires music and my favorite artists. How much it means to get to meet them and shake their hand, take a picture. When you meet your favorite artist and they’re nice and they make eye contact with you and you get to have a conversation, that’s one of the best feelings. So every time I get to do a meet and greet of any sort, I want to hopefully give that same experience to anybody that I meet.”
