Country music has long been a staple in entertainment across North America for years. But as love and recognition for the genre expands, its reach beyond the the 50 states and Great White North has also grown. Because of its endless expansion, the Country Music Association has begun leading the charge towards bringing country music worldwide.
The CMA’s latest endeavor is the Introducing Nashville tour series, with two treks scheduled across Europe and the United Kingdom this October. Enlisting acts like Rachel Wammack, Danielle Bradbery, Devin Dawson, Travis Denning and Walker Hayes, CMA will bring country music to fans who might not otherwise get to hear their favorite artists live.
The stripped down shows are designed to replicate the infamous Nashville songwriters rounds, with each act taking a moment to introduce their songs, as well as share in their personal lives. The experience gives international fans a front row experience to the happenings within Music City.
As this year’s Introducing Nashville tours kick off, Sounds Like Nashville is excited to announce its partnership with Sony Music Nashville recording artist Rachel Wammack, who will be live blogging in between each leg of the tour. Wammack will give SLN fans an inside look at her experience overseas and what it’s like to perform for international country music lovers. Stay tuned for Rachel’s blogs, written in her own words, appearing exclusively on SoundsLikeNashville.com.
