When the weather gets too hot to handle and you need a little cooldown, CMA has now got you covered…literally.

CMA is partnering with the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. (NCVC) to bring a free indoor stage in the Bridgestone Arena for all attendees at CMA Music Festival. The Music City Stage will be open to all exploring down on Broadway during the Fest in the Visitors Center of the mighty arena. The stage itself will be the only indoor and air-conditioned stage throughout the Fest for those who need a little break from the outdoor action.

“We are so pleased to present a new, official Festival stage in partnership with the NCVC,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “Each of our 11 stages provides a unique experience for our fans whether it is the mainstage at Nissan Stadium, rockin’ with fan favorites at Riverfront, or smaller, more intimate performances.”

Performers at the stage include newcomers Jillian Jacqueline, Tristan McIntosh, Alyssa Michaela, Michaelis, Mockingbird Sun and many more. The shows will go from 11am to 4pm every day of the Fest.

Not only will artists be performing at the Music City Stage, but the new festival venue will also feature the Ultimate Air Dogs show three times a day. These cute little pups will do their water performances for the crowds after having a three-year hiatus from CMA Fest.

“I’m a Country Music fan have been all the way back to the ‘70s. Nashville is so high on my list I actually named my dog Nash after Nashville,” said Milt Wilcox, former Detroit Tigers pitcher and founder of Ultimate Air Dogs. “Where else can you go to see all the great Country Music stars and watch some of the best dogs in the world compete?”

CMA Music Festival will be held on June 9-12 in Nashville.
