CMIL Exclusive: Alan Jackson Shares Story Behind The Song ‘Flaws’

Alan Jackson is back with Angels and Alcohol, his first new studio album in three years. The new release from the country legend features 10 tracks, including his latest single, “Jim and Jack and Hank.”

Another song that’s featured on the album is “Flaws,” written by the Georgia native himself. CountryMusicIsLove has an exclusive cut x cut (watch below), where Jackson dishes on the story behind the tune.

“Everybody’s got things about themselves that they don’t like,” the soft-spoken superstar shares, pointing out that this track isn’t meant to be anything “viscous” about having flaws. In fact, it celebrates them in a fun way.

Speaking of flaws, the singer/songwriter also opens up about a few of his own. “I got these little skinny feet. They’re pitiful,” he says with a smile. “My arms are like an orangutan. I’m six-four and I think my span’s about seven feet!”
