As we countdown the days until Tuesday’s much-anticipated release of David Nail’s new album, I’m A Fire, we have an exclusive preview of the song “When They’re Gone (Lyle County).”

Nail enlisted supergroup Little Big Town to join him on the tune, which was written by Brett Eldredge and Scooter Carusoe.

“Coming up with the mastermind idea of having Little Big Town on it, going out of the road with them, and them agreeing to do it, just made it so much more than I ever imagined,” Nail shares.

The Missouri native says working with the band was a highlight of his career so far.

“When I hear them come in on that very first part, it’s one of those moments where hey, if it all ends tomorrow, the fact that I was able to have such a great group of guys that I think so highly about be apart of this…as cliché as it sounds, it’s a dream come true.”

To hear a preview of the track as well as listen to Nail, Carusoe, and producer Frank Liddell discuss the song, check out the exclusive video below.

“When They’re Gone (Lyle County)” is just one of the 11 new tracks on I’m A Fire, which also features Nail’s platinum-selling hit “Whatever She’s Got” and his newest single, “Kiss You Tonight.”
