CMIL Exclusive: Jerrod Niemann Talks Doobie Brothers Collaboration

Dobbie Brothers

On November 4, Sony Music Nashville will release Southbound, an album that brings together four-time Grammy winning band The Doobie Brothers and several of country’s biggest stars including, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band, Sara Evans, Chris Young, Casey James, Love and Theft, for a collection of all-new recordings of the Doobie Brothers’ biggest hits.

Hitmaker Jerrod Niemann had the pleasure of teaming up with The Doobie Brothers on the track “South City Midnight Lady. “

The Kansas native, who says it was “exciting” to sing on this track, has only one issue with it: “The only thing I don’t like about ‘South City Midnight Lady is that my parents have probably made love to it,” he says with a laugh.
