CMT is celebrating country music's twenty most accomplished female artists from the past two decades and ranking them according to fan-selected favorites in the latest music special, What’s Your 20? 20 Greatest Women, 20 Years, premiering Friday, May 6 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT. The two-hour fan-voted show features all-new exclusive interviews with the honored artists and videos of their biggest hits.

Whether it's Shania Twain soaring to international superstar status, Faith Hill transforming from the “girl-next-door” to a national glamour icon, or young faces like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift dominating the charts, women have commanded their share of the spotlight in country music more than ever in the past twenty years.
