Cody Johnson kicked off the new year with exciting news as his latest album Ain’t Nothin’ To It debuted at No.1. The project landed in the top spot on Billboard’s Country Albums chart upon its release.

The lead single from Ain’t Nothin’ To It, “On My Way To You,” has also garnered a slew of fan support, reaching more than 33 million on-demand streams and selling over 310,000 track equivalents.

Earning a No.1 album is the icing on the cake for Johnson, who went in to the studio to record a collection of songs that were unequivocally him. The result was 15 songs that showcase the singer’s musical and personal journey to where he is today.

“God gave me the gift to play music, and I feel like I owe it to Him and all of these fans to play exactly what I’m supposed to play. Don’t differ from that. If I differ from that at all, that would be my downfall,” he told Sounds Like Nashville.

Fans of Johnson can catch the Texas native out on the road beginning January 31 in Fargo ND through the beginning of August.
