Cole Swindell Will Drop Fourth Album, ‘Stereotype,’ on April 8

Hit posting country star Cole Swindell is set to begin another album cycle this spring, as he announces the details of his fourth studio album, Stereotype.
Set for release on April 8, the album will mark his first full-length studio project since 2018’s All of It, and Swindell says his goals are still the same. That should be welcome news to fans who’ve enjoyed his 10 Number Ones to date.
“I am so proud of this album and excited for everyone to hear what we have been working on,” Swindell said in the project’s announcement. “I’ve always had a ‘best song wins’ attitude when recording an album and I hope every song we recorded for Stereotype makes you feel something. I can’t wait for the Down to the Bar Tour to start and play some of these songs for the fans.”
Produced by Zach Crowell, Chris LaCorte, Jordan Schmidt and Michael Carter, Swindell’s 13 track project will feature seven songs written by the Georgia-born star himself. Also included are recently-posted 10th Number One, “Single Saturday Night,” and chart-climbing current single, “Never Say Never” (with Lainey Wilson), plus another all-new collab — this time with rising hitmaker HARDY.
Meanwhile, Swindell gave fans a taste of the new project with the album-news broke, sharing a serene country ballad focused on the “it’s becoming real” phase of true love called “I’m Gonna Let Her.”
“And I’m gonna let her / Keep on makin’ this life of mine a little better / Showin’ me all about love right down to the letter / So if she wants to think I’m thinkin’ ’bout forever / I’m gonna let her,” goes the heartwarming chorus.
Leading up to his fourth album, the consistent hit maker has reached Number One at country radio with all but one of his singles, either on the Billboard Country Airplay or Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts. Breaking out after running the merch table for Luke Bryan, his multi-Platinum hits include his 2013 debut single, “Chillin’ It,” plus 2015’s “You Should Be Here.”
Swindell will launch his headlining Down To The Bar Tour on February 17 in Peoria, Illinois, joined by Travis Denning and Ashley Cooke.
