Coming Soon: A Blake Shelton Six Pack

Blake Shelton announced this week that he will release a value-priced album featuring six brand-new songs on Tuesday, March 2nd.

“I talk to my fans every day and the first question they ask me is, ‘When are you going to release a new record?’” says Shelton, whose last studio album was 2008’s Startin’ Fires. “I want to give my fans new music more often and at a lower price. The fact that people will be able to get the new music for less money is a gift to my fans who have been behind me every step of the way.”

The first single is the title track, Hillbilly Bone, a duet with Shelton’s long-time friend Trace Adkins. Also currently available on iTunes is Blake Shelton: The Essentials, a digital compilation of fan-favorites, including his six-week No. 1 debut single “Austin,” and the multi-week No. 1’s “Some Beach,” “Home,” “The Baby,” and “She Wouldn’t Be Gone.” The Essentials collection will be available exclusively at iTunes until Jan. 12.
