In memoriam of all of the horrific events occurring over the past decade, popular hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas reunited to remix their classic hit, “Where is the Love,” 13 years after its release.

The remake of the song also incorporates the making of a new inspirational music video featuring many celebrities who want to make a difference in the world and pay tribute to all of the tragedies that have happened recently. Connie Britton from Nashville, among many other famous faces, makes a cameo in the video for the group.

Britton stands up alongside celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Kendall Jenner, Tori Kelly, Usher, P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, Lance Bass, Rosario Dawson, Quincy Jones, Jessie J, Jaden Smith and so many more.

The black-and-white video comes out of The Black Eyed Peas’ need to encourage young people to be strong and brave in times of danger and gives an anthem to this new generation to raise their voices for all to be heard.

In a short video posted to his Facebook page, will.i.am urges listeners to stay encourages in events of doubt or violence. He, like his bandmates, wants to help reassure society that things are going to be
OK even when times get tough.

“I hope this song inspires the millennial to go all out,” will.i.am says in the clip. “Scream from the tallest mountain. Care like your freedom depends on it. Pay attention like that is at risk.”

The video is available exclusively on iTunes and Apple Music as of Thursday ( Sept. 1). All sales from the revamped single will go to will.i.am’s i.am.angel foundation, which is a non-profit with a specific goal of “transforming lives through education, inspiration and opportunity.”
