Country Music Artists Do the ‘Harlem Shake’

One of the hottest (and strangest) dance video crazes right now is the “Harlem Shake.” The video usually consists of someone with a mask dancing, a cut to a group of people going crazy, then a slow motion shot before cutting out. A number of Country music acts have been taking part in this unique expression. Blackberry Smoke, Love and Theft and some others all took time to post their videos on YouTube.

Blackberry Smoke and the entire Southern Ground crew took a little break while setting for up their recent show with the Zac Brown Band in Omaha, NE.

Love and Theft showed off their dance moves with Q93 in Knoxville, TN.
(And as Eric Gunderson let on during a recent Google+ chat, he’s also a professional dancer – check out those moves!)

Another funny video is of Dallas Davidson, Rhett Akins, & Ben Hayslip doing the Harlem Shake “Peach Pickers Style.”

Scotty McCreery and his band even got the audience into the fun during their show in Pittsburgh!

Scarletta even joined in on the fun!
