The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game presented by Staples celebrated its 27th year with record-breaking attendance and memories to last a lifetime. Country stars from all walks of life joined together to help raise money for an excellent cause… City of Hope.

During the annual event, fans were treated to a National Anthem performance from the ‘queen of country’ herself, Reba, while Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil threw out the first pitch. One of the most memorable moments of the entire day was when City of Hope patient and leukemia survivor, Nicole Schulz, met her bone marrow donor, Rian Lawrence, in person for the first time.

The artists that stepped up to the plate this year included Billy Ray Cyrus, Craig Morgan, Kellie Pickler, Jessie James Decker and her husband and NFL player, Eric Decker, Lauren Alaina, Todd Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley of USA’s Chrisley Knows Best, Lunchbox, Eddie, and Ray of the Bobby Bones Show, Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s “The Property Brothers,” The Swon Brothers, Danielle Bradbery, Aaron Watson, Jackie Lee, Trent Harmon, Maggie Rose, Miss Tennessee, Allee-Sutton Hethcoat, and Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth of ABC’s The Bachelorette.

Sounds Like Nashville was out on the field for the game to catch up with many of the acts ahead of the game. Many were veterans of the softball game while others were excited to take part for the first time. There was plenty of laughs, trash talk, and fun to go around.
