Country Stars React: George Jones Dead At 81
It’s a sad day for the Country music community.
Country music legend George Jones passed away today, Friday, April 26, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The singer had been hospitalized since April 18 when he was admitted due to fever and irregular blood pressure.
The Country Music Hall of Famer and Grand Ole Opry member made a huge impact on many people’s lives, including fans and members of the Country music community. Many Country artists have taken to Twitter today to express their sadness about Jones’ death and share their condolences to Jones’ wife and family.
