It’s practically a requirement in the South to spend Sunday afternoon posting up and watching the biggest football game of the year when the Super Bowl rolls around.

This year, the NFL’s iconic match-up pitted the Philadelphia Eagles against the New England Patriots. As both teams dominated offensively throughout the entirety of the game, the Eagles came out victorious with a 41-33 win. The ‘Birds’ took home the coveted trophy for the first time in franchise history, making the moment an even prouder one for Philly fans everywhere.

A few country music singers got in on the action with some rooting on the teams in the frigid cold of Minneapolis, where the game took place, and a handful cozying up in their own homes enjoying the competition with a fried food spread. Whichever way any of the most popular names in the genre spent their Super Bowl Sunday, they still got to witness quite a faceoff throughout each quarter.

As Maren Morris scored a kiss from her honey, Ryan Hurd, in between plays, Kelsea Ballerini came out as a real winner when she announced to her fans via Instagram Story that she met Mandy Moore at the tailgate party alongside her husband, Morgan Evans. What a fangirl moment to live off of, right?
