People.com counted down the top celebrity weddings of 2008 and two country stars made the list…

Sara Evans & Jay Barker – Sweet in a Vera Wang gown and escorted down the aisle by her three children, country singer Evans, 37, married former University of Alabama quarterback Barker, 35, on June 14 on a Franklin, Tenn., farm. Keeping with a cozy country theme, the guests dined, family-style, on fried chicken and mac and cheese.

Jewel & Ty Murray - Following a 10-year-long courtship, the singer, 34, and Murray, 38, a rodeo champion, eloped in a hush-hush ceremony on Aug. 7 at the Cove Atlantis in the Bahamas. Afterward, the bride (in Monique Lhuillier) and groom (in jeans and cowboy boots) called their parents to break the news and watch a beachfront fireworks display. “It felt like we were the only ones in the world,” Murray told People.
