Craig Morgan has made the decision to cancel his remaining concerts for the month of July to mourn the loss of his son.

Following the tragic and sudden death of his 19-year-old son, Jerry, Craig Morgan has made the decision to cancel his remaining concerts for the month of July to mourn the loss of his son.

The announcement was made on Morgan’s website with a note posted to his tour page. The concerts affected include Deadwood, SD (7/14), Milbank, SD (7/15), Detroit Lakes, MN (7/16), Orem, UT (7/18), Central Point, UT (7/20), Red Cluff, CA (7/22), Yerington, NV (7/23), Jacksonville, FL (7/28), and Huntsville, AL (7/30).

Morgan’s next scheduled show is slated for August 4 in Astoria, OR.

Jerry’s body was recovered from Kentucky Lake Monday evening after being involved in a tubing accident on Sunday. Although he was wearing a life jacket, his body did not resurface. Investigators are currently trying to figure out why.

Jerry was a 2016 graduate of Dickson County High School. He had plans to play football for Marshall University in the fall. Jerry is survived by parents Craig and Karen Greer, sister Aly Beaird and brother-in-law Ryan Beaird, brother Kyle Greer and fiancé Chelsea Rogers and brother Wyatt Greer. Funeral arrangements are still pending.
