Craig Morgan is thrilled with the results of his 6th annual Charity Motocross Ride, Concert and Sporting Clay Shoot. The two-day’s events and auction raised more than $73,000, bringing the four-year total to $250,000.

Proceeds from the weekend will benefit the Craig Morgan Charity Fund, a component fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The Craig Morgan Charity Fund continues to raise funds to benefit foster children in Dickson County and throughout Middle Tennessee. The ultimate charitable goal for Craig is to establish Billy’s Place, a welcoming home for temporarily displaced children.

“Year-after-year I am blown away by the support for this event from our celebrity friends and the Dickson and Middle Tennessee communities,” says Morgan. “I am so proud of the amount of money raised to help the children and families in this area and am already looking forward to our 7th annual event next summer.”

Motocross stars Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Randy Hawkins, Kevin Windham, and country star Bucky Covington thrilled spectators with the exhibition and trail ride in Vanleer, Tennessee. Later that evening, country music star Darryl Worley and HLN “Morning Express” host and “Brand New Day” singer Robin Meade along with the evening’s emcee, GAC host and TV personality Nan Kelley, performed for a packed house alongside Morgan to support the Craig Morgan Charity Fund. The evening’s silent auction was a huge success as a hunting trip with Morgan went for over $6,000.00!

On day two of the festivities, “The Ultimate Shooter” Tim Bradley showed of his skills a part of the popular Celebrity Sporting Clays Event.

As Morgan wraps this year’s charity weekend and begins planning for next year, he is also excited about his new single “More Trucks Than Cars” which was released this week by Black River Entertainment. Written by Morgan with Phil O’Donnell and Craig Wiseman, the song is featured on his current album This Ole Boy, available now everywhere music is sold.

Morgan can also be seen in the third season of his Outdoor Channel series, “Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors,” with episodes airing Sunday night throughout the year.
