Craig Strickland’s Memorial Service Planned For January 12

A memorial service for Backroad Anthem member Craig Strickland will take place Tuesday, January 12.

His wife, Helen, shared the news with fans via Instgram, revealing that the event will also be streamed online for those who are not able to attend. The service, which will begin at 6pm, will take place at the Cross Church Pinnacle Hills Campus in Rogers, Arkansas.

“To all reading this message, you are invited to join our family at Craig’s memorial service either at CrossChurch or via webcast (website listed above),” Helen wrote. “I love you all, thank you for loving my husband.”

Strickland was found dead On Monday, January 4 after embarking on a hunting trip with his friend Chase Morland on Sunday, December 27. The pair’s boat was found capsized on Monday, December 28 and Morland’s body was discovered shortly after. After a week of searching, rescuers found Strickland’s body on the shoreline of Kaw Lake, north of where his boat capsized.
