The Grand Ole Opry will welcome another new member come March 2017 when three-time IBMA Entertainers of the Year and multi-Grammy-nominated duo Dailey & Vincent is inducted to the Opry family.

The duo, who celebrated its 100th Opry appearance Friday night, received a surprise invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry from member Marty Stuart, who had just performed with them on stage.

“Country music needs you. Country music loves you. And the Grand Ole Opry welcomes you,” Stuart said.

“This is one of the most special things that has ever happened to us,” a visably shocked Dailey expressed. “We’re so thankful.”

Before performing the gospel classic “This Old House” to close out the show, Vincent added, “I have no words. I’m so honored. The Lord is so faithful to us.”

Daily & Vincent will be formally inducted into the Opry on Saturday, March 11.
