Texas native Danielle Bradbery is geared up and ready to touch down in Houston for her performance at the 2017 NFL Players Party as the Super Bowl takes over the city for its massive game.

With the Atlanta Falcons taking on the New England Patriots for the trophy, Bradbery has her eyes set on the stage as she will join the ranks of various artists in performing to pump fans up for one of the biggest sports weekends of the year. As a football fan herself and happy to head back home for the festivities, the country singer can’t wait to play for sports lovers and her own supporters alike.

“It feels really good. Obviously, it’s clear that I haven’t really done hometown shows recently in the past year and things like that, so I’m really, really excited to get back. I always love going home to Texas and it’s going to be so much fun,” she told Sounds Like Nashville during a phone interview.

Like many others dedicating themselves to Sunday’s match-up, Bradbery finds herself on the rooting side for one team in particular that coincides with her Southern background and devotion to her division.

“I love both teams,” she admitted. “I will have to say I’m going to go with the Falcons this time because it would be cool to see them win a Super Bowl. Plus, they’re in the same division as the Saints and the Texans. So I’m like, in my mind rooting for them.”

Spending Saturday doing her thing on stage and making sure she has time to sneak a peek at her friend and fellow country star, Hunter Hayes’, set, Bradbery hopes to hang with her family and friends to cheer alongside them while feasting on her favorite Texas grub.

“It’s just usually a barbecue, kinda hanging out until the game,” she said to SLN. “I will be honest—I’ve been thinking about what I want to get when I get home because I do miss Texas food. I love burgers. I know it’s a big thing that my family makes and will be around. But definitely barbecue. I cannot miss out on barbecue!”

Don’t miss out on Bradbery’s performance during the 2017 NFL Players Party, and be sure to tune into Super Bowl LI on Sunday, February 12, on FOX.
