Parents who are quarantining with children will certainly relate to a recent video posted by Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli. The couple posted a full-length music video for “Just Another Day In Quarantine,” a parody of Phil Vassar’s “Just Another Day In Paradise.” The video finds the couple in their house singing about various situations that parents, and everyone, can relate to while stuck in quarantine.

Then its school hour, I haven’t showered, ran out of milk, TP and flour / The grocery run, I’m scared to death / I wipe it down and I hold my breath,” Dave sings in the song.

The accompanying video continues to show Dave, dressed in a denim jacket, and Kelli, donning a cowboy hat, singing the song in their house. The video also cuts to clips of Dave sneaking a drink, Kelli riding a toy car around, and the couple trying to hide from the kids under a table. The Haywood children, Cash and Lillie, also make cameos in the music video. The two continue to sing about various quarantine struggles, with Kelli taking lead vocals on the chorus while Dave sings backup.

It’s a new day, same thing, just another day in quarantine,” they sing in the chorus. “Well, there’s lots of places I’d rather be / Parent time, overdue, happy hour now starts at two / But there ain’t enough whiskey for just another day in quarantine.”

The song also covers zoom meetings (without pants, of course), binge-watching Netflix’s Tiger King, and giving the kids a little bit more screen time to keep them occupied. The video ends with Kelli doing some glamour shots involving a leaf blower.

Dave’s fellow Lady Antebellum band mates commented on the humorous video with Charles Kelley writing, “Holy sh***. Now I know why you haven’t been answering my texts. This is gold.” Hillary Scott also commented with multiple skull and crossbones emojis, writing, “I cant recover. Incredible.”
