David Nail and Wife, Catherine, Welcome Twins
The twins, a boy and a girl, are the first for the couple, who have been married since 2009.
It’s official — David Nail is a dad!
E! News has confirmed that Nail and his wife Catherine welcomed twins on Saturday, Dec. 12. Son Lawson Brent was born at 7:44 a.m., and weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz., while daughter Lillian Catherine arrived one minute later and weighed 5 lbs., 14 oz.
“No words can describe the feeling,” the couple told E! News.
David and Catherine surprised fans when they debuted Catherine’s baby bump at the 49th Annual CMA Awards in November.
“I feel good. I feel like I’ve had a dream pregnancy, and especially, um, we’re having twins, so that’s kind of the bigger story,” Catherine told Sounds Like Nashville on the red carpet. “So I just feel really lucky. I haven’t been sick. Worst thing has been swollen feet, but I can deal with that all day long.”
The twins are the first for the couple, who have been married since 2009.
