In celebration of Veteran’s Day, country music singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley’s Desert Son clothing line has released a limited-edition T-shirt to benefit Folds of Honor, an organization of which the Arizona native has been a longtime advocate. All proceeds help provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members. The T-shirt features Bentley’s signature Riser Bird design in a camouflage print.
“I’m on the road two, three days or a couple weeks at a time, and that seems like a long time to be away from my family,” Bentley shares. “Our service men and women spend months and years away at a time, so on the most basic level that huge sacrifice is just the beginning of what they do every day for this country.”
Choosing to work with Folds of Honor was a no-brainer for the star. “Folds of Honor supports families of wounded soldiers and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice,” Bentley says. “It is a privilege for me to help with their commitment to provide scholarships to these spouses and children.”
Premium quality clothing brand Flag & Anthem is available online and at retailers such as Stitch Fix, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s Buckle, Von Maur, and Scheels, as well as in specialty boutiques nationwide. The Flag & Anthem brand was created to fill a void in the marketplace, offering detail, quality and exceptional fit at an affordable price.
Bentley began a long-term partnership with Flag & Anthem in Spring 2018. His Desert Son product line includes tees, tanks, western shirts, trucker hats, denim and more.
Bentley co-wrote 10 of the tracks on his latest project, The Mountain, which became his seventh chart-topping album. He has accumulated numerous nominations from the ACMs, CMAs, Billboard Music Awards, and Grammys while being currently nominated for CMA “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Single of the Year” and “Music Video of the Year.”
