The iHeartCountry Festival is back with brand new plans! Original scheduled for May 2, the 2020 festival had to shuffle to a virtual and on-air event in order to keep up with the ongoing coronavirus social distancing guidelines. Though fans can party in person, they will be treated to a day of music from some of country’s biggest stars.
Appearing for this year’s lineup on October 23 at 7p CT will be Dierks Bentley, Lady A, Sam Hunt, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi, Riley Green, special performances by Morgan Evans and Gabby Barrett and guest appearance by Bobby Bones.
“Despite this year’s pandemic, we are honored to still be able to host one of Country music’s most anticipated nights with an iconic lineup of the genre’s biggest artists,” said Rod Phillips, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartCountry, in a press release. “Although fans won’t be able to celebrate in person, the show will be available to our millions of listeners across our iHeartCountry stations nationwide and through the exclusive stream on LiveXLive.”
For the iHeartCountry Festival, organizers have teamed up with Capitol One. Cardholders will be able to enter an exclusive sweepstakes to play in a virtual iHeartCountry Capitol One Trivia Night with Kelsea Ballerini and Bobby Bones as host. Players will get an item signed by Ballerini and the winner will get to virtually announce her performance during the festival. Capitol One cardholders can enter for a chance to win from Tuesday, September 22 at 9 a.m. ET through Sunday, October 14 at 11:59 p.m. ET via www.iHeartRadio.com/CapitalOneTrivia.
The 2020 iHeartCountry Festival will stream exclusively on livexlive.com and broadcast live across iHeartMedia’s Country music radio stations in local markets and at iHeartRadio.com on October 23 at 7pm CT.
