Diplo Announces Star-Studded Collaborations For Debut Country Album
Diplo's long-awaited country album is set to include some of the biggest names in both country and pop music.
Diplo has shared more details on his highly-anticipated country album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil, set to drop on May 29 via Columbia Records.
The 12-track collaborative project features Thomas Rhett, Zac Brown, Danielle Bradbery, Orville Peck, Noah Cyrus, Young Thug and more. The DJ’s earlier collaborations with Cam, Morgan Wallen, Julia Michaels and the Jonas Brothers are also included in this LP.
Together with the album announcement, Diplo also unveiled a brand-new track “Do Si Do” with Blanco Brown, who rose to fame last year with his smash viral song “The Git Up.”
Diplo has long been plotting his entrance in to the country music world. In 2019, he invited Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus to debut “Old Town Road” live at Stagecoach’s Late Night dance party. The DJ has since rolled out his remix of the global hit and appeared alongside Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mason Ramsey and more to perform it at the 2020 Grammy’s awards show.
