Dolly Parton has dropped some bombshell news on country fans, announcing a remake of a famous duet. The living legend has teamed up with fellow country diva Reba McEntire, and fans will get to hear the new track soon.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on BravoTV, Parton was taking questions from fans when one seemed to strike a nerve. When asked why she and McEntire had never collaborated, Parton revealed a duet is already in the works.

“Reba and I just did a song together,” she said, adding that the track will be part of a new album from McEntire, which has not been announced yet.

“We redid the song ‘Does He Love You,’ that she did years and years ago,” Parton went on. “We did a new version of it, and it turned out really good. I’ve always wanted to sing with her, and I don’t know why we never did it until now, but we really sounded good together. I think the fans are gonna like it. “

McEntire teamed up with country singer Linda Davis for the original “Does He Love You,” releasing the vocal stunner back in 1993. Davis is the mother of Lady A’s Hillary Scott, and the track captured the heart-wrenching strife of a love triangle, with the two stars each chasing the same man. There’s no word on how (or if) Parton and McEntire’s new version will change that dynamic, but it’s probably safe to say the vocal blend will be just as irresistible.

Dolly Parton has been making news for weeks now, and her “Does He Love You” reveal is just the latest headline. She was on Watch What Happens Live to help promote her new fragrance, Scent From Above, which arrived alongside a fascinating new electronic dance tune called “Sent From Above.” And after scoring a pair of Emmy nominations for her Netflix Christmas movie, the 75-year-old superstar shared the Playboy-themed birthday present she created for her husband, Carl.
