Dolly Parton Surprises Mickey Guyton During Interview

Mickey Guyton received the surprise of a lifetime thanks to country musics fairy godmother Dolly Parton during a recent interview with Gayle King.

Last year, Guyton revealed to King during an interview with CBS This Morning that her biggest inspiration was Parton, yet they had never met before. King arranged the special moment to occur in the midst of another interview with Guyton. Little did King know how much the meeting would rock Guytons world.

After being asked a question, Guyton starts to answer but stops upon Partons entrance to the set. The answer, in return, resulted in a loud, high-pitched scream which said enough about how excited Guyton was. Shedding a few tears in disbelief while talking to her idol, Guyton let the dream meeting sink in. Parton felt the same.

See now, I know why I do it, said Parton to Guyton, as she wiped away her happy tears.

Not only did Guyton react emotionally in the video posted by CBS, but also could not contain her excitement when it came to her social media. Taking to her Twitter, Guyton posted a picture of the two country cuties featuring a crying eyes emoji and an all-caps exclamation of, BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Highlighting the dreamlike state of the surprise, Guyton also posted an animated picture of the two to Instagram. As wishes do come true, Guyton was sure to add some sparkling lights to showcase the magical moment.

With a surprise like that, Guyton can now say shes met her truest inspiration and sprinkled with a little bit of Dolly fairy dust.
