Donny Osmond Endorses Tim McGraw for ‘Dancing With The Stars’

While there are no country artists on the upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars,” former DWTS champion Donny Osmond hopes to change that in the future. During a recent surprise appearance at Tim McGraw’s “Emotional Traffic” tour stop in Salt Lake City, UT, Donny told the crowd that he thinks Tim would be a great fit for the show.

“You know, Tim’s in pretty good shape here. He’s got his muscles and the whole bit. I think he should do Dancing With the Stars,!'” Donny recalled telling the crowd during a radio interview shortly after the concert.

No word on if Tim is up for the challenge. If he was to hit the ballroom, he wouldn’t be the first country star to do so. Sara Evans appeared on “Dancing With The Stars” back in 2006 while Chuck Wicks danced with then-girlfriend Julianne Hough on the hit show in 2009. Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, and LeAnn Rimes have all turned down offers from ABC to appear on the show.
