Summertime is here, and Dustin Lynch is soaking in every minute of the warm weather with the release of a new single, “Good Girl.”
Although the singer wasn’t expected to come out with any new music for the next few months, Lynch couldn’t resist the opportunity to record and gift the fans with something fresh that was right up the singer’s alley. Lynch himself became passionate about the track from the minute he heard it and knew it needed to be a summer single to remember.
“We came across something that I just fell in love with immediately, and we just said, ‘Well, why not just go and record the song?’ And once we did that, I got to thinking, ‘Man, I can’t live with this song not being heard this summer.’ I called my record label, they were cool with going ahead and letting me record it, and then I asked, ‘Man, what if we went ahead and put this out for summer ’18. Like, I can’t wait all year long to put this out next year, or something.’ And they were like, ‘Well, hell yeah,’” Lynch explained in an Instagram video about the new song.
Laid-back and catchy all the same, Lynch sweetly sings about the woman of his dreams that fulfills his every need in a love. The banjo mixed with some pop elements bring the message on home in a way that will get all of his fans singing along all season long.
“Good Girl” is available everywhere now just in time for the summer like Lynch wanted.
