Dustin Lynch has reached his destination with the smooth-rolling single, “Ridin’ Roads,” scoring his seventh career Number One at country radio.

All about chasing that middle-of-nowhere sunset with a special someone, Lynch co-wrote the gravely standout with Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell — making it his second co-written chart topper. It features an easy-going vocal filled with contented romance and a rare dobro hook, and left the starting line as the second official single from Lynch’s almost-out Tullahoma album (following up his previous Number One, “Good Girl.”)

“Ridin’ roads that don’t nobody go down / A little trip through the country side / These 38s makin’ the world go ’round / I hit a curb just to make you slide / The only light is the flashin’ yellow / The only thing that I want is your kiss / I’m lovin’ nothin’ to do with you, baby / Just ridin’ roads on a night like this,” goes the vivid chorus.

Lynch’s Tullahoma concept album — written about his Tennessee hometown from the point of view of his “Small Town Boy” character — comes out January 17. After that, he’ll hit the road for his headlining Stay Country Tour 2020 with special guest Travis Denning, starting January 30 in Detroit, Michigan.
