Dustin Lynch is Gearing Up for 2019 Very Hot Summer Tour

Dustin Lynch is set the hit the road supporting Thomas Rhett on his Very Hot Summer Tour, and he has a lot to look forward to, both on and off stage.

Concerning performing, the country crooner cannot wait to just make music and introduce his songs to Rhett’s fans. He hopes they will want to come back for more when he hits the cities in the future as a headliner.

“I’m excited to get to do it with a buddy [Rhett] that I’ve grown up with, literally in Nashville, before we had publishing deals, record deals, and he and I were kicking it,” Lynch shared during a recent press conference. “Life has changed in a lot of way for him and myself, I just don’t have two kids and a wife, but other than that, we’re about the same.”

When it comes to life off stage, however, Lynch is all about writing.

“We have Rhett Akins opening, we got Russell Dickerson out there, we’ve got myself and Thomas Rhett, and that leaves a lot of open bunks for songwriters like these guys to jump out and join us,” The Tennessee native explained. “Just like we saw with ‘Good Girl,’ you never know what can happen so I’m going to be writing with the intention of we could be going to the studio next week if we get a good one.”

The Very Hot Summer Tour kicks off May 17 in Spokane, Washington, and will continue through October, finishing out in Nashville, Tennessee.
