Dwight Yoakam and Jack Black to Produce New FOX Comedy

More country music is coming to prime time television!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jack Black and Dwight Yoakam are to produce a country music comedy, thanks to FOX.

The show was created by Alex McAulay, who is known for his work on Eastbound and Down. The comedy ‘Belles and Whistles’ is about “an unfulfilled father who, after being fired from his comfortable tech job in Silicon Valley, decides to move his dysfunctional family to Nashville in order to pursue his lifelong dream of music stardom.”

While McAulay will be writing the scripts, Yoakam will being executive producing along with Spencer Berman.
