Dylan Scott and Wife Welcome Baby Boy
The two announced they were expecting their first child together back in early June, just after the big news that Scott reached the Top 10 with his hit, “My Girl.”
Step over, ‘My Girl,’ because Dylan Scott will only be thinking about his boy after he and his wife, Blair, welcomed a little boy on Tuesday, December 12.
Naming him Beckett, the two couldn’t be more thrilled to have their first child together after what seemed like a relatively long labor. Scott continually updated fans about the status of Blair and baby through his Instagram story, giving the thumbs up that they were doing fine throughout the delivery process and even during the lead-up time before giving birth. He even revealed his son’s name through the social media app before he arrived on Tuesday.
The two announced they were expecting their first child together back in early June, just after the big news that Scott reached the Top 10 with his hit, “My Girl.” Sharing a sweet snapshot of Blair kissing her music man while holding a onesie, Scott posed with the mini-booties and peeped the family move by teasing the gender with his song as part of the social media caption.
While the couple didn’t expect to expand their family so soon, Scott admitted that he and his wife would make amazing parents for their future child.
“Blair and I are just so happy and so in love with this little boy already,” Scott told People after the announcement. “We can’t wait to be parents! No nerves, just excitement. Blair knows what she is doing with kids, and she is going to be a great mom!”
Scott married his sweetheart in the summer of 2016 during an intimate Louisiana ceremony, and the two have experienced more than a year full of pure bliss.
