The upcoming Hank Williams biopic “I Saw The Light” has cast its leading lady.
Actress Elizabeth Olsen will take on the role of the legendary singer’s wife, Audrey Mae.
Set for release in 2015, the movie will tell the story of Williams’ rise to fame and how it affected his personal life. Prior to their personal relationship, Sheppard was Williams’ manager.
Olsen is best known for her roles in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Godzilla” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Williams will be played by Tom Hiddleston, from “Thor.” Producer Marc Abraham will direct the flick from his own script, based from the book “Hank Williams: The Biography,” by Colin Escott, George Merritt and William MacEwen.
