After the show, it’s the after party and Charlie Worsham played host to that shindig throughout CMA Fest at the Ernest Tubb Record Shop on Broadway in Nashville.

Bringing out all the stops, Worsham didn’t fall short of a fun time for festival-goers as he and many of his fellow country artist friends performed in the legendary store for his event, “Midnite Jamboree Hosted by Charlie Worsham Featuring ??,” following the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium across the river.

Thursday night turned out to be quite the kickback with special guest performances from Vince Gill, Aubrie Sellers and Brothers Osborne. On Friday, after playing Nissan Stadium,Eric Church made his way to the tiny shop and almost shut the whole event down with a turnout that had fans overflowing into the street, just waiting for the opportunity to squeeze inside to catch Church’s set. A packed house indeed, to say the least, is what resulted in quite the chaos on the street, according to fans.

Church took to Twitter to retweet an article written by The Tennessean that had fan reactions from social media saying that the cops turned people away from the concert when the shop got overflooded with other attendees.

For Worsham, the party was a dream come true as he has always wished for the opportunity to take part in a jamboree like this, let alone host the whole event.

“Last night, I got to host my own version of country music’s original after party, in the very room that can stake a claim as the world’s first country music store, where legends like Elvis, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams Sr. and countless many others have performed,” said Worsham.

Guests at the other jamborees included Margo Price, Hunter Hayes, Lucie Silvas, Kid Rock, Brandy Clark and Brent Cobb. The shows were a chance to revive the past and give everyone the chance to see an artist or two that they love up close and personal.

“This weekend, we shined a light on one of country music’s most hallowed landmarks,” Worsham said. “Thank you so much to the loyal fans who came out, and to the incredibly gracious artists who joined me on stage. I am blessed everyone put the music first, followed their hearts and let some big magic happen over the past few days. My heart and soul are overflowing with gratitude, joy and love.”

Worsham will follow up the success of the Midnite Jamboree with the release of his new studio album, which is his first in three years. The release date has yet to be announced.
