Eric Church To Perform “Unplugged And Uncensored” Set On Country Throwdown Tour

Eric Church is set to headline the Outlaw Stage of the Country Throwdown Tour, which kicks off this weekend in Tampa, FL. The Country Throwdown Tour also features Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson, Jack Ingram, and Little Big Town, among others.

Church and his band will perform a very rare, intimate “Unplugged and Uncensored” show of which no two performances will be the same. Church’s special sets will begin at 5:25PM (subject to change) at the Outlaw Stage in the Festival Area of each date and will feature the same energy as the super charged shows for which Church is known. The Country Throwdown Tour will travel through 23 cities from May14″ June 20.

“I wanted to do something special for this tour to add to the outdoor, tailgate-like atmosphere and give the Throwdown fans a unique and intimate experience,” Church says of the unplugged performances. “Who knows, we may even try out some new songs I’m working on for the new record.”

In between tour stops, Church has also worked to help those who have been hit hardest by the recent flood destruction in his homebase of Nashville. Church has aided with supplies to the local Humane Society and encourages fans to help out in any way they can by visiting donatenashville.org.
