New singer-songwriter Eric Van Houten is giving fans a sneak peek at his new single, “Sunday Never Ends,” on Sounds Like Nashville. Releasing on Friday (6/26), the summer anthem was written by Van Houten and Danny Myrick. The easy-listening track, produced by hit writer Chris DeStefano, provides lyrical visuals of outdoor hangs and carefree activities as the chorus ends with the hooky line, Say amen/ Party friends/ Sunday never ends.

The New York native has been working with producer DeStefano since moving to Nashville. Houten shared, “I met Chris DeStefano at the Tin Roof just after I came to town. He was up on stage with Brett Eldredge that night and we just hit it off. Working with him has been so easy … We just build off our friendship and magic happens.”

DeStefano added, “To some, Eric may be a new artist, but his level of artistry is that of a superstar. Since meeting him in 2014, he is what he is, and from my chair — that is the best kind of artist to work with because they take you where you need to be (musically).”

The single’s caricature artwork features a few of Van Houten’s celebrity friends, including Nashville Predators hockey player, Ryan Johansen, as well as country artist Chase Rice, DeStefano, and more.
