Faith Hill To Star In New Movie, ‘Dixieland’

Faith Hill will be hitting the silver screen once again!

According to deadline.com, Hill will star in indie crime drama “Dixieland.” The singer will play the mother of a young man, just out of prison, who moves back home and falls in love with the troubled girl next door.

The cast includes Riley Keough, who is Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, The Leftovers’ Chris Zylka, Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte, Spencer Lofranco (Jamesy Boy), Brad Carter (True Detective), Steve Earle (Treme) and WWE wrestling star Mick Foley. “Dixieland” was written and directed by Hank Bedford.

No release date has been announced for “Dixieland.”

Hill last appeared on the the big screen alongside Nicole Kidman in 2004’s “The Stepford Wives.”
