Faith Hill to Debut New Single, “American Heart,” on Twitter

Five-time Grammy Award winner Faith Hill is set to debut her new single, “American Heart”, from her forthcoming album, with a ‘fan first’ social media event. The song’s release will mark the first time that a country artist has premiered a single and lyric video on Twitter. In advance of the premiere, Faith will chat live with her fans on Twitter at 7:00 PM EST at twitter.com/faithhill prior to NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Fans can participate by tweeting their questions to the hashtag #AskFaith. The song will be released simultaneously to country radio stations nationwide.

“This song inspires,” says Hill. “It grabs a hold of a very special place that we all have in our hearts. Times are hard and people are struggling, but our spirit as Americans always seems to prevail.”

She adds, “We wanted to do something special for our fans who have been so supportive of me through the years – something a little different and something just for them. No better way than the socials.”

“American Heart”, co-written by Jonathan Singleton and Jim Beavers, is an anthemic mid-tempo tribute to the spirit of the ‘american heart’. Hill’s vocal is as powerful and distinct as ever and is a reminder that hers is one of the best voices of a generation. The song is co-produced with Byron Gallimore and Faith and was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.
