Family Comes First For Faith Hill
Parade magazine recently caught up with Faith Hill who dished on her family, when she feels the most beautiful, and her plans for a new album. Check out their story below…
On juggling career and motherhood…
“I constantly work at maintaining balance. For me, my family comes first. If my family is taken care of then everything else usually falls into place. My family and my friends are most important to me. These people are my foundation. And it’s okay to take time for yourself. We give so much of ourselves to others and we need to be fueled both physically and mentally. If we are in balance, it helps us in all our interactions.”
When she feels her most beautiful…
“This may sound funny, but I feel my most beautiful when I’m clean, fresh out of the bath. I don’t have to be dressed up. I could be in comfy clothes at home hanging out with my family.”
Her favorite beauty tip…
“Always keep your skin hydrated, inside and out. I drink a lot of water and I never leave the house without putting on moisturizer and lip gloss.”
The inspiration behind her new fragrance, True…
“I wanted to create fragrances that were classic and timeless. Scents you could wear everyday, whether you’re at home in your sweats or dressed up for a night out. With my first fragrance, there were notes in it from things that reminded me of growing up in Mississippi, like Magnolia. I wanted to keep the fragrance clean and fresh. I love how it turned out.”
She and husband Tim McGraw enjoy each other’s “scents”…
“I liked his first fragrance so much I actually wore it too! But yes, we do let each other know what we think of the scents in the creation process. And our oldest daughter, Gracie, is definitely more into makeup and perfume than the other two. But they do like the fragrances.”
What the Mississippi native loves most about Southern women…
“Their honesty and humor.”
Plans for her next album…
“I’ve been taking time to write for this album. I haven’t done that in a long time and I’m really enjoying it. I’m looking forward to getting into the studio and creating new music.”
